Woke up this morning feelin’ pretty damn good and drove down the road to my job. But the Boss locked the door, and a note read no more, cuz after taxes there’s nothing but loss.

The boss had to cut and run, there was nothing else to be done. Perhaps it was government policy, a fragile economy, a human anomaly.

Maybe I should have studied astronomy so I could chart a path 

through the heavens.

I jumped back in the truck, head out for a bar and was really looking to tie one on.
But as I took a left, a car side swiped me, I guess and sped off across someone’s lawn.

The driver left the scene, Well its just so obscene. How can I keep up this endurance, paying premium Insurance, lost my job and now I’m pissed off!

You can’t change the world today.
I’ve done nothing wrong, just having a real, real bad day.

Now heading back home, got the wife on the phone. Just need to hear the sound of my honey. But things get worse, she said she grabbed the kids and her purse, left the dog, but took all my money.
